Torch Spark plugs LTD, now , Known as Weichai Torch Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”) was formerly known as Zhu Zhou Torch Spark Plug Co., Ltd. The company was established in 1961 at Zhu Zhou, Hunan province and was listed in Shenzhen in 1993. In 2005, Weichai absorbed and merged with Torch. Due to the company’s strategic development needs, the company changes to Weichai Torch Technology Co., Ltd in 2021. Now, the company is a holding subsidiary of Weichai with an independent legal personality.
Nowadays, The company has successfully became the largest OEM supplier of Shanghai GM, Changan Ford, Dongfeng Yulong, FAW Car, Changan, Shenyang Mitsubishi, Dongan Mitsubishi, Chery, Jianghuai Auto, Geely Automobile, Mianyang Xingchen, Grand river Group, Qianjiang, Yamaha, PERICOM, Kohler, Fuji, TTI and other well-known automobile, motorcycle and small gasoline engine manufacturers in China. The company’s products line has been expanded from a single spark plug to multi filed, such as, Ignition cable & coils, Water seal, Generator, Filter, Brake Pads, Water Pump etc., It also extends to Automobile, Motorcycle, Small Gasoline Engine, Large Gas Engine, Bus and other fields.
Torch Spark Plugs achieved the certification of ISO9002 quality management system in 1996, and achieved the QS-9000, ISO/TS16949, ISO14001 subsequently.
